FANNIE (McDANIEL) GOODMAN
- A funeral service for Fannie Goodman of Camden was scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden. Burial was to follow in Eastview Cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday and today. Goodman, 96, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at Camden Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Camden.
Born Dec. 6, 1911, in Benton County, she was a daughter of the late Odo and Etta Goodman McDaniel.
She was the widow of Louie Goodman. She was the oldest member of Eagle Creek Baptist Church, where she had been a member since 1941. A family member said she loved to garden and cook.
She also leaves a son: Jimmy (JoAnn) Goodman of Bee Springs, Ky.; one other daughter: Martha Harris of Camden; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Charlie McDaniel; two sisters: Vernie Marrison and Annie Ruth Goodman; a son-in-law: Mack Harris; and a great-grandson: Justin Harris.
LULA (MURPHY) GOSSETT
- Services for Mrs. Lula Murphy Gossett were Tuesday afternoon at Flatwoods Church near McIllwain with the Rev. Don McConnell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gossett, who was 87, died Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. V. A. Odle near Camden. She was the widow of Doss Gossett, former superintendent of education in Benton County. She was a Presbyterian. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Odle, Mrs. E. A. Franks of Holladay community, Mrs. J. F. Harris of Lethia, Fla., Mrs. J. W. Capps of Camden; five sons, Olian G. Gossett of Camden, Cecil Gossett, Murphy Gossett, both of Holladay, Miles Gossett and Woodrow Gossett, both of Memphis; a brother, Sam Murphy of Wildersville; 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

GEORGE B.GREEN
- Services for Mr. George B. Green, age 52, were held Monday, May 20, 2002 at Stockdale-Malin Chapel. Mr. Green, a geologist, died May 17. 2002, at Camden
General Hospital. Survivors are wife, Jan Green, and sons Gaines Montgomery Green and Albert Cary Green, all of Nolensville; two sisters and four brothers.

JAMES RICHARD GRIFFIN
, was born Feb. 20 1970. Son of Doris Ann Arnold Hopper of Camden and Danial Griffin of New Jersey.
James was a student of Camden Central High School. He is survived by his mother and 1 sister Donna Williams Nolan Barrett
of Paris, 1 niece Barbara Nycolle Williams of Memphis, 2 nephews David Anthony Nolan of Paris and Michael Scott Rowlette of
Camden. James passed July 2, 1987 and is layed to rest in Hatley Cementary with his grand parents Fred and Lucy (Hatley)
Arnold and 1 brother David Hensley.

CLIFFORD MAURICE GROOMS
- Services for Mr. Clifford Maurice Grooms, 60, will be at 2:00
PM Monday, April 15, 2002 at Chase Funeral Home Chapel in Huntingdon, TN.
Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery, Hollow Rock, TN. Mr. Grooms, a
well driller for 45 years, died Sunday, April 14, 2002 at his residence.
