NANCY ANN JACKSON , 84, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Earl Baker, Monday October 10, 1955. Funeral services were held Wednesday October 12, 1955 at Flatwoods Baptist Church near Camden. Burial was in the Flatwood Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Benton county. She had lived her seven years. Her husband, John Jackson died 25 years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors besides Mrs. Baker are three other daughters, Mrs. Evie Hollingsworth, Zion IL; Mrs. Alice Hubbs, Camden, Mrs. ANnie Edwards, Selmer, Tennessee, a son, James Jackson, Chicago; a stepson Tom Jackson, Denver, 27 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

HALLIE VICTORIA (ANDERSON) JOHNSON , 97, of Huntingdon passed away July 2, 2009 at the Harmony Hills Assisted Living. Services were July 4, 2009 in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment in the Davis Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born AUgust 9, 1911 to John C. Anderson and Lula Roark, one of eight children. She was a member of the Davis Chapel United Methodist CHurch. She was employed at the old H.L. Carter & SOn general merchandise store for many years. After her retirement she had a good garden and many flowers and plants. She was an exceptional seanstress. SHe was preced by her husband Hubert Johnson who passed away May 3, 1961; her daughter Mary Katherine Hundley, who passed away Sept. 22, 1933; four brothers, Denver W. Anderson, Herman, Serl and Otha Anderson; two sisters Bernice Winters and Evola Riley. She is survived by a sister Vergia Kirk of Huntingdon; a son-in-law Bill Hundley and wife Pat of Kingsport. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

ANNELLE (KEE) JONES - Funeral services for Annelle Jones, of Camden, age 76, were held Saturday, July 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Arzell Douglas and Randy Thompson officiating. Burial followed at Crossroads Cemetery. Oakdale Funeral Home of Camden was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones passed away Wednesday, July 16 at St. Thomas Medical Center in Nashville. She was born Aug. 24, 1931 in Benton Co. to the late William Allen Kee and Vonie Deaton Kee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Kee and a sister, Geraldine Smothers. She is survived by her husband, Grady Jones, a daughter, Debbie Townsend, two sisters, Wilma Furr, all of Camden, and Mary Patterson of Nashville; a granddaughter, Kelly Phifer, and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Liebergesell, both of Camden.
MAY BELL JONES , age 69, of Lexington formerly of Linden, passed away Sept. 19, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services wereheld Tuesday Sept. 21, 2010 at 2 pm in the chapel of Young Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Flatwoods Cem. Mrs. Jones was a retired factory worker and was currently employed at Bailey's Restaurant. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband Don Jones. Survivors include heer daughter Debra Tinin Hohenwald; sisters Willie Treadwell, Flatwoods, Bonie Coble, Lobelville TN and Melba Jones of Linden TN.

WILLIAM JACK JONES - Funeral services for William Jones were Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden TN. Burial followed in Eastview Cemetery in Camden. Mr. Jones age 70, died March 28, 2011 in Camden General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Linda Jones of Camden; two sons, Randy Jones, of Parsons and Tommy Hart of Memphis; two daughters, Regina Gray of Jackson and Anita McDaniel of Camden; three brothers - Jerry in Peoria, Jim in Tampa and Terry of Parsons - six grandchildren.

ELEASE JORDAN , Services for Elease Cook Jordan, 80, were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 10 at Bruceton Funeral Home with the Rev. Arzell Douglas officiating. Order of the Eastern Star rites were held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 9 in the chapel. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery in Benton County. Mrs. Jordan, a retired seamstress for Henry I. Siegel Co., died Saturday, July 7, 2001 at Life Care Center in Bruceton of cancer. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Adah Chapter $314. Survivors include two sons, Denton R. Jordan of Bruceton and Rick W. Jordan of Hollow Rock; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, Woodrow Jordan, preceded her in death.

CHRISTINE P. JOSLIN , 84, died March 25, 2005, at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach. She was born in Camden, Tenn., and lived in Vero Beach for six years, coming from Caledonia, Miss. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, James B. Joslin; son, Jim Joslin of Houston; daughters, Saundra Morgan of Vero Beach and Debra Lewis of Athens, Ala.; brother, R.G. Presson of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Minnie Dean Walker of Memphis, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be in Benton County Memorial Cemetery in Camden. Arrangements are by Oak Dale Funeral Home, Camden. Local arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
