OBITUARIES CYNTHIA ANN (BARTON) LARUE - A funeral service for retired secretary Cynthia Ann LaRue of Big Sandy was conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Harmony Baptist Church, where she was a member. Mark LaRue, Jeff Hardy and Ray Gilder officiated. Burial followed in Flatwoods Cemetery in Benton County. Visitation was Friday at the church. LaRue, 60, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at Henry County Medical Center. Her husband Wally LaRue survives. Born Sept. 27, 1947, in Altus, Okla., she was a daughter of M.C. and Melba Thrash Barton of Coffeeville, Miss. She also leaves three sons: Kenny LaRue of Big Sandy, Mark LaRue of Savannah and Terry LaRue of Trenton; one sister: Mary McRight of Hohenwald; two brothers: Charles Barton of Goodlettsville and David Barton of Coffeeville; and six grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister: Doris Jean Elbert; and a brother: Ray Barton. BESSIE ANN (WATSON) LASHLEE
- Services for Bessie Ann Lashlee, 92, widow of Thomas J. Lashlee, will be Saturday, May 11, 2002 at 2:30 PM at the Camden Church of Christ with
burial in Camden Cemetery. Mrs. Lashlee died Thursday, May 9, 2002 in Hartford, Kentucky. Surviving are a daughter, Marietta Solomon of Hartford, KY and

CLYDE WELDON LOWRY , 69, died on Monday, July 2, 2001 at his residence in Camden. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5 at the Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden with Bro. Lloyd Rich officiating. Interment was in the Camden City Cemetery (Benton Co). A retired taxicab owner and operator, a Mason and veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Lowry was born on August 6, 1931 in Benton County to the late Clyde Lowry and Ora Ballard Lowry. He is survived by his wife, Judy Massey Lowry, formerly of Carroll County; three daughters, Sharon Beabout and Teresa Lowry, both of Columbus, Indiana and Heather Ragsdale of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sons Mark Lowry of Columbus, Indiana and Bobby Craig, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Benny (Sack) Lowry of Camden and Sammy Lowry of Olive Branch, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
