CARROLL CO TN Pilgrims Rest Cumberland Presbyterian Church The Tornado that ripped through this area in April 2006 completely destroyed this old pioneer church. Wendy Isom of the Jackson Sun Newspaper (www.jacksonsun.com) covered the story of this tragedy. She related the kindness and generosity of the residents in helping her to find the site where the church had stood. Former church members were assessing the damage as she arrived upon the scene.
