The First Monday
Last Monday was a rather lively day in Huntingdon. The democratic speakers did not appear and R. K. WARREN and J. B GILBERT took their places. W. T OWNBY spoke for the republicans in the afternoon. The crowd was orderly, no arrests made.

MISS MAMIE DRUMMOND went to Paris where she has accepted a class in music. Miss Mamie is one of our most deserving young ladies and we trust she may find as many friends in her home as she has here.
