BRENDA JOYCE (JEFFERIES) UMSTEAD - Services for Sept. 16, 2010 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment followed in Sellers Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Umstead, age 63, died Sept. 14, 2010 at Jackson Hsop. She was a retired dietitian for the Lexington Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her father, William Jefferies, and two brothers Tony Jefferies and Monty Jefferies. She is survived by her mother, Opal Jefferies of Clarksburg; two daughters, Donna Smith of Henderson, Jeannie Arnold; one son, David Scott both of Lexington, one sister Motty Sue Beckham of Clarksburg and seven grandchildren.

MARTHA UTLEY - Services for Mrs. Martha Sue Utley, 56, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Atwood Church of Christ with Lance Corple and Bill Irby officiating. Burial will be in Trezevant Cemetery with Brummitt Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Utley died Friday after a long illness. She was a retired from the Henery I. Siegel Co. in Trezevant. Survivors include her husband, Glynn Utley of Trezevant; a daughter, Mrs. Glenda Rogers of Trezevant; her mother, Mrs. Lillie Cook of Trezevant; two sister, Mrs. Mary Stanley of Milan and Mrs. Lucille McCoy of Nashville; a brother, Everett Cook of Bruceton; and two grandchildren.
