MAVIE CAROLYN (WINTERS) ANDERSON WALKER , 98, died Sunday, February 10, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Graveside services are Tuesday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Andrew Stokes officiating. Mrs. Walker was born August 1, 1909 in Big Sandy to the late Andy and Carrie (Hampton) Winters. She was a retired inspector for the Publix Shirt Corporation and a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John E. Anderson; her second husband, Albert Walker; one daughter, Wilma Geraldine Anderson; one son, Wallace Everitt Anderson; two sisters, Lillian Winters and Jewell Mannon; and three brothers, Edward Winters, Harvey Winters, and Earlie Winters. Survivors include: one daughter, Bobie Joe Anderson (Prentice G.) Kirk of Paris; one son, Jerry Clayton (Gloria) Anderson of Huntingdon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

FONNIE WHEELER - Services for Fonnie D. Wheeler, 95 were at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15 at Reed's Chapel in Lexington with Bro. Alan Judd officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cedar Grove. Mr. Wheeler, a farmer, died Saturday, July 14 at his home of heart failure. Survivors include two daughters, Demetrius Wheeler and Delinda Stewart, both of Cedar Grove; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His wife, Dora Wheeler, preceded him in death.

ELIZABETH CHRISTINE (BAILEY) WIGGINS , 83, of McKenzie, died Sunday, November 18, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Boyd officiating. Burial followed at Olive Branch Cemetery in Como. Mrs. Wiggins was born April 11, 1924 in Big Creek, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Cora Ellen Stephens Bailey. She was a member of Mixie Missionary Baptist Church and an employee of Western Wire Manufacturing. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wiggins; one sister, Stella Mae Dilday; and two brothers, Rev. Charles Edward Bailey and W.T. Bailey. Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Perry of McKenzie; one son, Jack Wiggins of Henry; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
