STATE OF TENNESSEE, Coffee County. } February term of the Circuit Court, 1846.
Whereas, James M. Stephens, collector of the public taxes for said county, reported to the Circuit court of said county, the following tracts of land, as having been given in for the taxes for the year 1845, and that the taxes thereon remain due and unpaid, and that the respective owners and claimants thereof, have no goods or chattles within his reach, on which he can destrain for said taxes, to wit: -
James Jackson, one tract of land, containing 240 acres, lying in civil district No.5, valued at $240.00; taxes 54 cents; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
John Surman, one tract of land, containg 100 acres, lying in civil district No.5, valued at $50.00; taxes 14 1/4 cents; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
B. F. Brown, one tract of land, containing 640 acres, lying in civil district No.6, valued at $200.00; taxes 45 cents; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
Benj. S. Hollins, Adm'r., one tract of land, containing 400 acres, lying in civil district No.6, valued at 400.00; taxes 90 cents; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
John B. Rogers, one tract of land, containing 100 acres, lying in civil district No.6, valued at $160; taxes 36 cents; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
John Morrison, one tract of land, containing 33 1/3 acres, lying in civil district No.7, valued at $10; taxes 2 cts; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
Robertson, Curling & Co., one tract of land, containing 333 acres, lying in civil district No.9, valued at $333.00; taxes 75 cents; collectors fee 1.00; printers fee 1.50; clerks fee 1.50.
Whereas, it is considered by the court, that judgement be, and it is hereby entered against the aforesaid tracts of land, in the name of the State, for the sum annexed to each, being the amount of taxes, costs and charges due severally thereon, for the year 1845, and it is ordered by the court, that said several tracts of land, or so much thereof, as shall be sufficient of each of them to satisfy the taxes, costs and charges annexed to them, severally be sold as the law diricts.

In presence of the foregoing condemnation and order of sale, I shall expose to public sale, at the court house door in the town of Manchester, on Monday the 6th day of July next, the foregoing tracts of land, or so much of each, as shall be of value sufficient to pay the taxes, costs and charges severally due thereon.
