I William H. Brown of Davidson County be of a sound mind and e---- memory but weak in
body do make and ordain this my last will and testament. In the first place I do wish all
my legal debts to be paid and after that I wish my property to be disposed of in the
following manner, to wit the one half to be given to my sister Elizabeth McClain living
in ------set County in the state of Pennsylvania and the other half to be given my sister
Maryann Brown living in Washington County state of Pennsylvania and I do constitute and
appoint Wm Lytle of the town of Nashville my executor of this my will and request him to carry
the same into effect in witness hereto I do affix my hand & seal this 3 day of January 1828 --- ---
and --- in the presence of these subscribing --- and the county court of Davidson is not to be
--- of my said executor for his performance of said trust.
