Attended elementary and secondary schools of Perry County; attended college two years„ Married Sept. 22, 1886, to Ida Jane Guthrie, native of Decatur County; children-Perry P., W. O., Myrtle, Leslie Brown, Nora Belle, Robert Edwin, and Grady McKinley. Subject engaged in farming all his life; also described as broker; home at or near Decaturville, Decatur County. Member Christian Church; Free and Accepted Masons; Order of the Eastern Star,, Died at Decaturville Sept. 6, 1936; buried at Mount Carmel, Decatur County. Uncle of Riley Rogers Randel, sometime member Tenn0 General Assembly.
