HESSIE ALLEN AARON - Funeral services for Mrs. Hessie Allen Aaron were held Tuesday afternoon May 15, at the Camp Ground Church in Decatur County Rev. J. E. Jones of Hohenwald th3 officiant, and burial was in h Church Cemetery. Mrs. Aaron, wife of Gilbert O. Aaron was born and reared in this county on Marsh Creek the daughter cf the late James D. and Leora Myracle Allen. At the time of her death she was principal of the Summerside Elementary School in Louden County. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter. Nora Lee Aaron of the home, one stepson. Rye Aaron of Oak Ridge. Tenn., a step daughter, Mrs. Annie Mae Rutz of Decaturville Tenn., three sisters , Mrs. Flossie Rhodes, Mrs. Velma Ward and Mrs. Lula Grooms all of Marsh Creek, three brothers, Elsia and Eldred Allen both of Marsh Creek, and William Allen of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, and three grand sons. Burial was in charge of Perry County Burial Association. IDALIA AARON - Funeral services for Ms. Idalia Aaron, age 85 will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15,2009 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath Springs. Ms. Aaron died Sunday in Parsons. She was a homemaker and did extensive volunteer work with the Headstart Program. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Weir, and a grandson Brandon Weir. Surviors include her two sons, Johnny Armstrong of Scotts Hill, Wayne Wells of Bridgeview, IL. and four daughters, Linda Pokorney and Bonnie Miculinic of Burr Ridge, IL. - Services for Becky Adams were Sunday APril 3, 2011 at Parsons Methodist Church. Burial followed at Spence Cemetery. Mrs. Adams, age 72 died APril 1, 2011 at her home. She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Adams. She is survived by her husband, John Adams, Holladay; one son, Johnny Adams,Lexington and three grandchildren.
MATTHEW H. ADAMS
, 44, of Bath Springs died Thursday Dec. 25, 2008 at his home. He is survived by his father, Jerry Adams of Bath Springs; daughter, Tatum Adams and a son, Kirby Smith; a brother, Eddie Adams; 2 sisters, Paula Tuten and Patricia Choate
A memorial services was held Sunday Dec. 28, 2008 at Nebo Methodist Church in Bath Springs. Reeds Chapel of Decaturville was in charge.
HELEN LOUISE ADKINS
- Services were held at Reeds Chapel, Scotts Hill on March 15, 2011. Burial followed in Lone Chestnut Cemetery. Mrs. Adkins, age 75, of Scotts Hill died March 13, 2011 at her home. She was the widow of Clarence Adkins and was also preceded by four daughters, Dorothy Ann Adkins, Mary Louise Mills, Juanita Vise and Imogene Blackstock. She is survived by a daughter Linda Cooper of Counce; four sons, Walter Bennett Adkins of Decaturville; Bennett Adkins of Lexington; Larry Adkins of Scotts Hill; Terry Paul Adkins and a sister Peggy Jean Sweatman of Reagan; and twelve grandchildren.
EARLINE ADKINS
- Services for Earline Adkins were Monday N ov. 2, 2009 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed in Bear Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Adkins, age 89 died Nov. 1, 2009 at Decatur County General Hospital. She was preceded by her husband Ray Adkins Sr. and a son, Ray Jr. one deceased granddaughter. Survivors include eight brothers and sisters; one grandaughter and three great-grandchildren.
LORENE R. ALEXANDER
, Services for Lorene R. Alexander were Saturday Dec. 26, 2009 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel in Parsons. Burial followed in Bear Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Alexander, age 88, died Dec. 24, 2009 at Decatur County Hosp. She was preceded by her husband,James D. Alexander, three brother, Virgil, Hershel and Mayhugh Rushing; two sisters, Golden Strickland and Pauline Blankenship and granddaughter. Survivors include one daughter Peggy Essary, Parsons, one brother James Rushing, Parsons; one grandaughter, two great grandsons.
WILLIAM THOMAS ALEXANDER , 75, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Parsons, retired from Kimberly-Clark Corp., died Sunday at his home after a heart attack. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Parsons Mortuary with burial in Campground Cemetery. A World War II veteran, he had received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Silver Star. Mr. Alexander, the husband of Laurinda Denison Alexander, also leaves a daughter, Leigh Ann Alexander, and a son, Terry Lynn Alexander, both of Memphis; two brothers, Leonard Alexander of Wildersville and Woodrow Blankenship of Memphis, and a grandson. - Servies for Kathryn Allen were July 25, 2011 at Parsons Mortuary. Burial followed in Bible Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Allen, age 90, died July 23, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital. She was preceded by her husband, Clyde Allen; one son in 1942; five brothers, Robie, Obie, Audrain, Phillip and Earnest Wallace; two sisters, Betty Duke and Nettie Fiddler. She is survived by a sister, Lorene W. Lovell, Goodlettsville.
HARRY ANDERSON III
, Services for Harry Anderson III were Nov. 16, 2010 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Burial followed in Scotts Hill Pentecostal Cemetery. Mr. Anderson, age 87, died Saturday in Parsons. He was a retired Army Veteran, serving in WW II & Vietnam. Survivors include his son Harry Anderson IV of Scotts Hill and on grandaughter.
JESSIE MAE ANDERSON
, 93, Camden - Services will be held Sunday, May 26, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist
Church in Camden with burial in Crossroads Cemetery in Parsons. Mrs. Anderson died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at her residence. Survivors are daughter, Judith Pistole and sister, Sue Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Anderson.

He preceded in death by a brother L.W. Warden Arnold; and a sister Maggie S. Shutt. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ruth of Decaturville; one son John David Arnold, Waynesboro, one daughter Melanie Rouse, Decaturville, one sister, Frankie Ann Lacour, Florida and five grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband James Arnold; two brothers, Clyde and Jerry Kindle; three sisters, Jo Evelyn Swift, Sue Tierney and Peggy Hayes. Survivors include one son, John David Arnold, Waynesboro; one daughter Melanie Rouse, Decaturville; one brother Jimmy Kindle and five grandchildren.

- Services for Mrs. Dela B. Arrington were Friday June 4, at Parson Mortuary with the Rev. Jimmy burroughs officiating. Burial in Peace Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Arrington, 83, died Thursday, June 3, 1999 at Decatur County Hospital. She was a retired factory worker and the widow of Youel Arrington. She was a Methodist. She leaves a daughter Judy Kay Griggs of Parson and two grandchildren.
ALBERT CURT AUSTIN
- Services for Albert Curt Austin were Sunday at Red Walnut Church of Christ with Clyde Yarbro and Tom Bunting officiating. Military services were held at the grave in Corinth Cemetery near Scotts Hill with Scotts Hill Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Austin, 80, died Thursday night at Decatur County Hospital after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a retired farmer and gunsmith and a member of the Church of Christ. He leaves five sons, Ernest Austin of Holliday, Billy Austin of Wildersville, James M. Austin of Scotts Hill, Charles Austin of San Antonio, Tex., and Landon Austin of Chicago; eight daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Lambert, Mrs. Betty Bucynski and Mrs. Illa Faye Evans, all of Scotts Hill, Mrs. Kathleen McVey of Sardis, Mrs. Mary Alice Yarbro of Covington, Mrs. Coleen Wilbanks, Mrs. Julia Carr and Miss Irma Dean Austin, all of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Freddie Pratt, Blytheville, Ark., Mrs. Maude Mauldin, Chicago and Mrs. Addie Gant of Huntingdon; 33 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

- Services for Mrs. Annie Austin were Thursday at Boyd-Scotts Hill Funeral Home. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery. Mrs. Austin, 90, died Tuesday September 14, 1993 at Decatur County General Hospital. She was a homemaker. She leaves two brothers,Ora Franklin Austin and James Curtis Austin,both of Sardis.

Burial was in Peace Chapel Cemetery with Pafford Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Austin , 85, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Memphis. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Rosa Chandler AUstin of Sardis, a son, David Paul Austin ofMemphis; three daughters, Mary Flowers, June Blankenship, both of Memphis and Ruth Barker of Dyersburg; a brother, Harding Austin of Scotts Hill; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Crews of Scotts Hill, nine grandchidlren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Austin, 68, died Tuesday morning at his home at Holladay. He was a retired Air Force serviceman and retired employee of Tennessee Valley Authority. Alex Autry, age 17, of Decaturville TN, passed away Monday Nov. 16, 2009 at his home. He was a senior at Riverside High School and was a member of the RHS baseball team. Alex is survived by his father and stepmother Barry and Missy Autry; his mother and stepfather, Tina and Harry Pursnami of Blytheville AR; 2 half brothers, Stone Autry and Kris Pursnani; 2 half sisters, Presley Autry and Anna Pursnani; grandmother Terrie Pace of Huntingdon.

Mr. Averett age 76, of Parsons TN, passed away Monday March 15, 2010 at Decatur County Hospital. He is survived by a sister, Ruth Smith of Jackson; a brother, Marvin Averett of Scotts Hill. He was predeceased by a brother, Herman Averett and his parents Birdie and Beatrice Averett.
