CORDELIA MAE (BRITTON) TAYLOR
, 74, homemaker, died Sunday (1 Aug 2004) at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery near Scotts Hill. Mrs. Taylor, the widow of Floyd Houston Taylor, leaves two daughters, Faye Jordan and Wilma Griffin, both of Bells; four sons, Neal Taylor of Memphis, David Taylor of Southaven, Miss., and Connie Taylor and Allen Taylor, both of Bells; a sister, Thnea Mae Johnson of Brownsville, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

, Funeral services for Daniel Taylor were Saturday July 11, 2009 at Parsons Mortuary. The family chose cremation. Mr. Taylor age 74, died June 29, 2009 at his home. He was preceded by his wife, Martha Jane. He is survived by one son, Dan Taylor of Perryville; one brotehr, Bob Taylor, Texas; and one siter Mary Rose, New York.

, 68, retired farmer, died Sunday at HCA Regional Hospital in Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery near Scotts Hill. He was a World War II Army veteran. Taylor, the husband of Cordelia Britton Taylor, also leaves two daughters, Ms. Faye Jordan and Ms. Wilma Griffin, both of Bells; four sons, Neal Taylor and David Taylor, both of Memphis, Connie Taylor and Allen Taylor, bo th of Bells; his mother, Mrs. Iva Smith of Laporte, Colo.; two sisters, Ms. Frances ColdIron of Laporte and Ms. Evelyn Britton of Dyersburg; two brothers, Sam Taylor and Fred Taylor, both of Bells, and nine grandchildren.

, age 62, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. Funeral services were held March 2, 2010 at Parsons Mortuary with Bro. Jimmy Wallace officiating. Inerment followed at Lone Chestnut. Mrs. Tharp is survived by her son, Joshua Lee (Lora) Tharp of Bath Springs; mother, Mary Creasy of Bath Springs; sisters, Lonie PUlley of Bath Springs, Linda Volner of Scotts Hill; and one grandchild, Chloe Marshall. She is preceded by her father, Clarence Hamilton. Serving as pallbeearers were Gary Don Hearrington, Travis Finley, Bradley Pulley, Greg Volner, Terry Finley and Brandon Arnett.

- Services for Mildred H. Thomas were June 16, 2008 at Parsons Mortuary. Burial followed in Bear Creek. Mrs. Thomas, 79, died June 14, 2008 at Decatur Hsp. Survivors include two sons, Danny Thomas, Henry TN and Ron Thomas, Lewisburg KY; two daughters, Sharron Traywick, Billings MT and Beverly Holiday, Cedar Grove TN; three sisters, Marie Gilbert and Shirley Collett both of Parsons, Carolyn Barker, Henry; seven grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Sheridan W. thomas; three brothers, Junior Hays, Dennis and Bud Hays and a ssiter Betty Barbon.

- Services for Mrs. Rada P. Thomas, 81, of Parsons, will be held Thursday, April 2, 1 p.m. at the chapel, with
Bro. Richard Haley Officiating. Interment will be in Red House Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas died Monday, March 30, 1998,
at Baptist Hospital, Nashville. She was a homemaker and member of Parsons First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son,
Charlie Dean Thomas, Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter Wanda Grissom, Nashville; a brother Orvil Mayo, Nashville; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Family members served as pallbearers.

She was preceded by her husbands Earl Harris and Theodore Todd, two sons Boby Harris and Earl Wayne Harris; three brothers Charlie, James and Luther King; three sisters, Alice Johnson, Golden Jowers and Ida Mae Dyer and one grandchild. She is survived by one stepson Bobby Gene Todd, Huntsville AL, one sister, Margaret Rains, Lexington and two granchildren.

- Services for Mary Tolley will be Oct. 6, 2011 at Parsons Mortuary. Burial follows in Campground Cemetery. Ms. Tolley, age 89, died Oct. 4, 2011 at her home in Decaturville. She was preceded by her husbands, Troy Lee Tolley and Will Lacy, first deceased husband; one sister, Milderd Harrington. Survivors include four sisters, Helen Johnson and Emogean Meggs of Darden, Jessie Mae Myracle of Decaturville and Dorothy Flowers, Scotts Hill.
MICHAEL TOLLEY
- Services for Michael Tolley were May 1, 2011 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tolley, age 38, died THursday in Lexington. He was preceded by his parents Charles M. and Neva Sue Montgomery Tolley. He was a student at Crump Technology School. He is survived by his brother, Dale Tolley of Murfreesboro.
LORENE (TILLMAN) TOLLEY
, age 87 of Decaturville passed away on Sunday May 8, 2011 in Lenoir City. She was preceded by her husband Pul Dennison Tolley. She was born on Jan. 20, 1924 to John Wesley and Maggie (Moore) Tillman. She is survived by her children, Hollis Tolley, Michael and Judy Tolley of Lexington, Randy of Lenoir City; sisters, Ruby Tolley and Margie Broadway ; brothers Gordon and Gary of Decaturville, severalgrandchildren. Lorene was a long time member of First Baptist Church at Decaturville. Services were May 10, 2011 at First Baptist with Rev. Don Franks and Rev. Don Franks and Rev. Barry McCord officiating. Interment in Decaturville City Cem. Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City was in charge of arrangements.

- Funeral services were held for Byron Gene Townsend Sunday at Parsons Mortuary Chapel, burial followed at Parsons City Cemetery . Mr. Townsend, age 56 died on July 4 from an auto accident in Decatur County . Survivors include a daughter, Melanie Jean Townsend of Memphis ; 2 brothers, Danny Townsend and Curtis Townsend, both of Parsons; 4 sisters, Linda Jones and Penny Tucker, both of Decaturville, Susan Walker of Lexington , NC , and Peggy Norman of Parsons; and 1 granddaughter.

Mr. Townsend, 84, died Fanuary 31, 2009 at his home. He was preceded by three brothers, Lynn, Wayne and Max. Mrs. Townsend, age 87, died Jan. 14, 2011 at Decatur County General Hsp. She was preced by her husband Earl Wayne Townsend and a brother Dan Jones. She is survived by two sons Billy Wayne Townsend, Hohenwald and Larry Edwin Townsend, Parsons; one brother, Rev. Joe Jake Jones, Clifton and seven grandchildren.
ELVIE PEARL TRIMBLE
- 1904—1987 - Parsons – Services for Mrs. Elvie Pearl Trimble, 83, will be at 2.p.m. Wednesday at Parsons Mortuary.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Henderson County. Mrs. Trimble, a homemaker, died Monday night at Decatur Co. General Hospital. She had a daughter, Minnie Lou Moore of Parsons.

- Funeral services for Donnie Tubbs, age 45, of Holladay , were Monday, January 10 in the chapel of Decatur County Funeral Home. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery . Mr. Tubbs died Saturday, January 8 at his home. Survivors include his mother, Mary Helen Tubbs of Holladay and one sister, Kathleen Morgan of Lexington . He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Tubbs.

- Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth "Nanny" Tucker were Saturday Feb. 20, 2010 in the Pafford Funeral Home Chapel in Scotts Hill. Burial followed in Grays Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Tucker, age 78, died late Wednesday at her home in Decaturville. She was born January 19, 1932 in McNairy County to the late Ivan Washington and Nona Pyram White. She was a homemaker. SHe was preceded by one daughter Debbie Montgomery. Survivors include her husband, Luther Tucker of Decaturville; son, Nick Tucker of Scotts Hill; daughter, Pam Ivey of Bath Springs; three brothers, Roger WHite of Pigeon Forge and Phillip White of Texas; four sisters, Marie Byrd of Mississippi, Obena Sowell, Virginia Goodwin and Omeg Sweat of Shiloh; and six grandchildren.

- Services for Mr. Tucsnak were Aug. 31, 2011 at Parsons. Burial followed in Bear Creek Cemetery. Mr. Tucsnak, age 58, passed away August 30, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical University in Nashville. He was preceded by his father Joseph Tucsnak III and one sister, Terry Tucsnak. Survivors include his mother Phyllis of Jonesboro AR; two daughters Leeanne Pierce, Jackson and Heather Tucsnak, St. Augustine FL; five sisters, Judy Holder, Margaret Veteto, Kathy Witcher, Susan Gann and Peggy Gilbert all of AR; and Judy Box Tucsnak, the mother of his children of Parsons.
