SILVER ANNIVERSARY HELD AT CLARKSVILLE
One of the most important social functions of the season was the silver anniversary, which was held Saturday night, January 15, celebrating the 25th year of the marriages of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Leech, of Clarksville, and Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Stone of Cumberland Furnace. As Hon. H. N. Leech was born and reared in Dickson county, and as he and Mrs. Leech were married on the same day upon which Mr. and Mrs. Stone were married, the occasion served a double purpose, especially in view of the fact that Messrs Leech and Stone have always been warmest of friends. More than three hundred invited guests were in attendance. Among those attending from Dickson were Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hunt.
