Carl Edwin Robinson - Humboldt --
Carl Edwin Robinson, 51, foreman for ICG Railroad and professional
horse trainer and farrier, died Saturday at Humboldt General
Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Gregory's Chapel
Assembly of God Church, where he was a member, with burial in Rose
Hill Cemetery. Humboldt Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Robinson, the
husband of Nancy McCoy Robinson, also leaves three daughters, Carla
Reynolds of Aztec, N.M., Cynthia Robinson of Humboldt and Kerry
Pledge of Jackson; his parents, Harold and Lois Robinson of
Humboldt, and a sister, Sylvia Robinson Youmans of Holly Springs,
Miss.

Humboldt - Carrie Mae Robinson, 88,
homemaker, died Wednesday at Humboldt Manor Nursing Center. Services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home with burial
in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson, the widow of Thomas E.
Robinson, leaves three daughters, Tommy Jean Johnson of Nashville,
Nancy Kometz of Seattle and Cathy Cate of Cleveland; three sons, Ray
Robinson and Jack Robinson, both of Humboldt, and John Robinson of
Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Sudie Harrison of Humboldt, 11
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

George Norman Robinson -
Humboldt - George Norman Robinson, 68, construction supervisor, died
Thursday at Humboldt General Hospital after a stroke. Services were
Friday at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home with burial in Moore's Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson, the husband of Carrie Robinson, also leaves a
daughter, Cathy Wiles of Humboldt; two sons, Gary Robinson of
Humboldt and Kevin Robinson of Milan; a brother, Travis Robinson of
Humboldt, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Georgia I. Brewer Robinson

Humboldt, TN - Funeral services for Georgia Robinson, age 91, will
be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of
Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Rose Hill
Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at
the funeral home from Noon until funeral time. Mrs. Robinson passed
away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Forrest Cove Rehab Center in
Jackson, TN. Mrs. Robinson born August 31, 1918 in Trenton, TN to
the late Clifford and Ruby (Holt) Brewer. Mrs. Robinson was a member
and Sunday school teacher at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Robinson;
a son, Neil Robinson; three brothers, James R. Robinson, Gerald
Robinson and Ollie D. Robinson. Mrs. Robinson is survived by a
daughter-in-law, Carol Robinson; a granddaughter, Beth and husband
Dr. Sandy Williams; two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Jake
Williams; two brothers, Cecil and Samuel Brewer, and several nieces
and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Doctor's and nurses at Jackson
Madison Co. General Hospital and at Forrest Cove for the loving and
tender care.

Harold Stone Robinson - Funeral
services for Harold Stone Robinson, age 87, will be Wednesday June
6, 2007 at Gregory's Chapel Assembly of God Church with Rev. David
Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in
Humboldt. Mr. Robinson died June 4, 2007 after a lengthy
illness and stay at the Humboldt Nursing Home. Mr. Robinson
was born on October 6, 1919 in Arkansas to the Late II. C. Robinson
and Annie (Stone) Robinson. Mr. Robinson had been a resident of
Tennessee since the 1930's. Mr. Robinson retired after 17 years with
the Milan Arsenal. Mr. Robinson attended Gregory's Chapel Assembly
of God from 1950 until his recent move to the Humboldt Nursing Home
in 2005. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by four brothers,
H. C. Robinson and Lawrence Robinson casualties of WW II, Homer
Robinson, and Luther Robinson all of Humboldt. Mr. Robinson
married Lois Grey Brewer in September 1939, who survives. To this
union were four children, three preceding him in death two as
infants and a son, Carl E. Robinson, surviving is a daughter Sylvia
J. Barron of Humboldt; four grandchildren, Carla Reynolds (Dale) of
Humboldt, Michael Youmans of Medina, Cynthia Green (Charles) of
Paris, and Kerry Pledge (Tim) of Jackson; two great grandchildren,
Chase Green of Paris and Carson Pledge of Jackson; a brother, Roy
Robinson of Humboldt and several nieces.

Homer Decarlos Robinson - Man
Killed As Horse Rears, Falls On Him - Humboldt, Tenn -- Homer
Decarlos Robinson, 51, died at St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday night
after an accident in the afternoon when a horse he was riding reared
up and fell back on him. Mr. Robinson died at 11 p.m. of
internal injuries. Robinson was showing the horse to a
prospective buyer on his farm in the Fairview Community when the
horse apparent became frightened and reared. Services will be
at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt Funeral Home with J. E. Williams and the
Rev. Willis Hinson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill
Cemetery. Mr. Robinson was born and reared in Jonesboro, Ark.,
son of Horace C. and Annie Stone Robinson. He had lived in and near
Humboldt 34 years. He attended the Church of Christ. Surviving are
his widow, Mrs. Ruby May Bridges Robinson; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry
Turner of Fairview and Miss Janice Robinson, also of Fairview; three
brothers, Luther Robinson and Harold Robinson both of Humboldt, and
Roy Robinson of Chicago; and his parent Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Robinson
of Humboldt.

Horace Curtis Clay Robinson
- Humboldt - Services for Horace Curtis Clay Robinson, 89, will be
at 2pm Tuesday at Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Rishton
officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr.
Robinson died Sunday at his home after a long illness. Born
and reared in Madison County, he had resided in Humboldt for 45
years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Jehovah's
Witnesses. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Stone
Robinson; three sons, Luther Robinson, Harold Robinson and Roy
Robinson, all of Humboldt; and six grandchildren.

- Trenton – Services for Rachel Lewis Robinson, 86, will be at 2 p.m. today at Shelton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson, a homemaker, died Wednesday at Humboldt Manor Nursing Home of heart failure. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. N. Robinson and a son, Gayle Lewis. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Shirley Call of Sparta, Norma Barnett, Max Lewis and Charles Lewis all of Trenton. She had four step-daughters, Betty Graves and Peggy Taylor of Jackson and Shirley Todd and Doris Todd of Yorkville.

Houston Robinson, age 70, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March
28, 2008 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday
from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Robinson, a retired truck driver and
Air Force veteran, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at his home
and is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Carrie Mason
Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Hellen Ruth Dendy Robinson; two sons,
Kevin Robinson of Humboldt and Barry Robinson of Gadsden; three

D. Robinson. She had two children, Carolyn Robinson Copeland of

Edgar Vernon Rust - Funeral services
were held Monday for Edgar Vernon Rust, 74, former citizen of
Humboldt, but for several years a resident of Little Rock, Ark., who
died at a Little Rock hospital Sunday afternoon following a brief
illness. The funeral was held at the graveside in Oakland
Cemetery at Trenton Monday morning, the Rev. George Bell, pastor
Trenton Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Rust was born and
reared at Milan, son of a prominent and pioneer family of Gibson
County for many years. He was a member of the Methodist Church
and for many years was engaged in business at Humboldt prior to
moving to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was connected with a clothing
firm. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Alice Yandell, of Humboldt, and
a brother, John Rust, of West Point, Miss.

services were held for Edgar Vernon Rust, 74, were held Monday
morning, December 29, in Oakland Cemetery here. The Rev.
George W. Bell officiated. Mr. Rust was born in Milan.
He was a member of the Methodist Church. For about 25 years he
had been a salesman for the A. Nash Clothing Company, Cincinnati.
He married Nancy Harrison of Trenton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles W. Harrison. They have lived all their married life in
Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Rust died early Saturday morning,
December 27, at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock after ten days'
illness of pneumonia. Funeral services were held at the Ruble
Funeral Home in Little Rock Sunday afternoon, then the body was
brought to Trenton for burial. Besides his wife, Mr. Rust
leaves a sister, Mrs. Alice Yandell, of Humboldt, and a brother,
John Rust, of West Point. Miss.

John Rust - One of the largest gatherings
ever assembled at the Hope Hill Methodist church was on Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock when relatives and friends paid their last
tribute to the memory of Mr. John Rust whose death occurred at Milan
Sunday night. He formerly lived near Medina and was beloved by
all who knew him. The funeral service was conducted by Rev.
Norman Moore and his favorite songs were sweetly sung by the Medina
Quartette. The profusion of beautiful flowers testified the
sorrow and sadness of his many friends. He was a member of the
Methodist church and a model, Christian gentleman. Much
sympathy is extended the family in their bereavement.
