DOTSON Heirs to partition land on Cedar Branch in Greene County.
Messrs. Peter Dotson heir at law of Edmond Dotson Dec'd. Moses Dotson and James Hise, and the heirs at law of Charles Dotson Sn'r, deceased, to wit, Henry Dotson, James Woliford and his wife Elizabeth, formerly Elizabeth Dotson, Jessee Walker and his wife, Ann, formerly Ann Dotson, and John Johnson and his wife, Milly, formerly Milly Dotson.
We will apply, by petition, to the next term of the Chancery Court, to be held at the Court House in Greeneville for the second Chancery district, composed of the county of Greene, in the Eastern division of Tennessee on the 2nd Monday of May next, to appoint commissioners to make partition of a tract of land, lying on Cedar Branch in Greene County, and adjoining the lands of Levi Hartman, Thomas Brown and others containing by estimation, 285 Acres; it being the same tract of land upon which the late Edmond Dotson Deceased lived; and in which you and ourselves hold undivided interest.
This 12th day of January 1840, Margaret Dotson widow of Reuben Dotson Dec'd. Cornelius Dotson, John Dotson, Sarah Dotson, Mary Dotson, Franklin Dotson, Margaret Dotson Jn'r, Moses Dotson Jn'r, Elbert Dotson and Jane Dotson; heirs at law of Reuben Dotson Deceased.
