The session convened at the church with following elders present, S. J. Wheatley, Oscar Goff, G. W. Stewart, M. H. Stewart Sr., James Hart, L. W. Brower, J. T. Council. Opening prayer led by G. W. Stewart. There being no communications the session entered into the business of the meeting. The following were nominated as elders to be ordained in the Palestine Congregation Raymond Connally and G. Tillman Stewart. The following were nominated as deacons, Jim Wheatley, George Goff and Euther Connally. The congregation voted and day for ordination was set for first Sunday in October 1932. Consideration of pastor for next year was considered, resulting in the call of Rev. James W. Dancer for the ensuing year. Upon motion the session decided to meet Sept. 19, 1932 at 7 oclock in the home of L. W. Brower for the purpose of revising the Church Record Book and transfering the records to new book. Opening prayer led by G. W. Stewart. Moderator elected to preside over this meeting, resulting in the election of G. W. Stewart. Session the entered into business of revising Church Record Book and the transfering of record to new book. Result is found in this book. Several members were found to be in question in regard to Christian life and church membership. committee composed of J. M. Hart Chr., L. W. Brower, M. H. Stewart Sr. was appointed to personally interview these and make report at next meeting of Session. Upon motion the records of this book were adopted as the official Church Record of Palestine Congregation beginning Sept. 1, 1932. By acclamation Oscar Goff was elected as representative to Presbytery with L. W. Brower alternate. On motion session adjourned closing prayer led by Rev. J. W. Dancer.

Nov. 6, 1932
Session called to order and opening prayer led by Elder G. W. Stewart. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans for raising an offering for the Budget. Motion was made, seconded and carried that this matter be placed in the hands of the deacons, the deacons - also to use the pledge blanks furnished by the board of tithing and Budget. Mar. 5, 1933
Session called to order and opening prayer was led by Elder O. L. Goff. Business was entered into, the first item of which was the election of a representative to Madison Presbytery which meets at Ramer, Tenn. Mar. 21-22. It resulted in the election of elder G. Tillman Stewart as the representative with elder Raymond Connally as the alternate. The second item of business was the discussion of the pledge for the budget. A motion was carried that the action of the session in its meeting of Nov. 6, 1932 be rescinded and that no pledge be made to the budget this year because of the existing financial conditions in our community. The third item was the discussion of some rumors which were circulating concerning certain elders. Committees were appointed to confer with these Brothers and report at the next meeting of the session. The fourth item of business was the nomination and election in the session of Mr. Coy Williams to the eldership of the Palestine Congregation of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In the worship service following the meeting of the session he was elected by the congregation. Date and time of the ordination service was set for the first Sunday in April at the 11: oclock service. On motion the session adjourned, and the closing prayer was led by elder Raymond Connally.

The session was convened at the regular hour of worship. A sermon having been preached they proceeded to lay on hands and ordain Coy Williams to a seat as ruling elder. Session was left open until close of the hour of worship. Having met again the reports of the committees appointed at last meeting. The reports were satisfactory furtherance of this motion was made, seconded and carried that the session openly declare elder J. M. Hart, innocent of the rumor concerning him. A committee was appointed consisting of elders, Raymond Connally, Coy Williams, Lee Brower, and J. M. Hart, to arrange for and superintend the building of an arbor for the revival. On motion session adjourned. Closing prayer led by elder O. L. Goff.

Brower was Elected as deligate & G. W. Stewart alternate to represent this church in Madison Presbytery which meets with Oak Grove congregation (Chester Co) at 7.30 P.M. Sept - 1933. Upon motion 3 were Elected to go over the clerks book with the Clerk twice a year, just before Presbytery meets, naming J. T. Council, Coy Williams & L. W. Brower. Stewart Jr., Fray Wadley. The purpose of the meeting was to elect a preacher to hold the meeting on the 1st Sun. in Aug. Rev. Douglas was to try to get Rev. Prince of Alabama if he could get him if not we would try for another one. Another item was for the clerk to give the committe composed of Mrs. Dalton Rhodes and Mrs. Bobby Dean Williams $50.00 each in $5.00 bills. They in turn was to give it to some of the wonem and them to use the money and make all they can for the church by this fall. We are planning on building a church shortly or repairing the old building some. The session was closed with prayer by Coy Williams.

The main object was to rework the old book, remove all inactive and deceased members. Five Elders were present, Leo Brower, Elbert Britt, Fray Wadley, Coy Williams and Dalton Rhodes. After book was cleared, the Elders selected Leo Brower and invested all authority in him to sell if possible the old church. If not, he is to have building removed in any way that he thinks best. There was also a motion made and passed to have Clerk to contact finance committee to have church dues pegged at present level or reduced as our expense is heavy, due to erecting new church.

Minutes of C. P. Church of Palestine. Session opened with prayer by Bro. J. J. Douglas. The purpose of this meeting to declare half time services for this church. The church was declared able to support two Sundays of service to begin the first Sunday in September and each 1st and 3rd Sunday thereafter. Outdoor accomodations of school & church discussed as to location, agruing to set building farther back. The church budget fund committee was given more time to establish themselves there being, Fray Wadley, Leo Brower & Elbert Britt. The Sunday school class of the childs room was discussed, with a decision to have all teachers on time or new teachers elected. Material for church doors is to be purchased by Fray Wadley, and installed. Motion made to adjurn. closed with prayer by Bro. Leo Brower.

Ruby Wadley teacher of intermediate class, Christine Brower assistant. Elinor Wood teacher of beginner class, Mildred Williams assistant. Bro. Leo Brower is in charge of all Sunday school literature. The Teacher of each class is required to count his or her class count all donations, and same to be turned over to the secretary and an accurate record kept. Fray Wadley is to supply candy or refreshments for beginner, to be paid for by the sunday school fund. Sunday School promptly at 10:00 AM. Through Elbert Britt she resigned as assistant teacher in childrens class. Resignation accepted. Mrs. Ervin Wood to report to Leo Brower Supt. as the condition of her work. The purpose of the meeting was to elect a delegate to Presbytery which was to meet at Selmer, Tenn. at the New Church Sept. 22 at 9.30 am on Motion & second Fray Wadley was elected as delegate. A motion was carried if the delegate wasn't there if any other Elder were present he could serve as delegate. A motion that a call session for 1st Sunday in Oct. at 3:00 pm be extended to elect Sunday School teachers and Superintendent for same. The session was closed with prayer by Bro. Dalton Rhodes.

Bobby Dean Williams made a motion that we as a church allow Bro. J. J. Douglas a salary of $136.00 per month and $35 per month on upkeep and repair of his home and $29.00 per month as expense of his car. This is for the year 1969 beginning in January 1, 1969.
