Hello - my name is
Christine Walters your County Genealogy Trails Co-Ordinator for Henderson County.
I'm a "transplant" from Illinois. We retired her in August 2003.
Genealogy Trails, throughout the United States, is dedicated to bringing
"free" genealogical and historical information to all. Although I can't do personal research for you,
I can promise that I'll do everything in my power to help you as much as possible.
Along with all the general interests, I'll put a more personal touch on the county, and will feature the "Pioneer Families".
While I'm out searching for all these things I'd like to invite all of you to send me what you know about
your ancestors, some of their experiences in the county -- why they came here.
This post card (Upper Right) was made by Steve McDaniel (Tennessee State Legislature) created for his "Cotton Patch Restaurant" about 1980.
Pictured left to right are Mary Margaret McDaniel, Mandy Griggs, and Andrea Leigh McDaniel, his daughter -
