SALLIE (RICKETTS) SHELTON
was born on February 27, 1859, and died April 6, 1941, aged 82 years. Early in life she was married to Dock Massey and to this union were born five children, of which four survive: Mary Neisler, Ella Neisler, John Ike Massey and Susie Pierce. After the death of her first husband, she was married to J. T. Shelton, in February 1888, and to this union were born seven children, five of whom survive: George, Jim, Tennie, Burnine and Elvie. Mrs. Shelton was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with services conducted by J. J. Britt.

He was a retired technician for Jim Miles Oldsmobile and Cadillac. - Services for Clinton Sherwood were May 9, 2011 at Mazies Chapel with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Sherwood age 46, of Lexington died Saturday May 7, 2011 at his home. Mr. Shirley had been a farmer, worked weekends at H.I.S. at Saltillo TN and retired as a School Bus Driver for Hardin County schools. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Lowder of Sardis TN; son Rickey Shirley of Sardis and one grandaughter.

, age 50, of Wildersville died Sunday July 4, 2010 in Lexington. He was an employee of Young Radiator. He was born to the late Orman Carols Sides in Red Bay AL. ANd was teh son of the late Richard Camber. He is survived by his wife Reginia, a son JOnathan Christopher Flatt ofJackson, a daughter Natasha Serena Flatt Renfroe of Scotts Hill his mother and stepfather Ricky and Patty Kennedy of Bath Springs; 4 brothers, Tim Sides of Germany, Chris Sides of Lexington, Keith Camber of Lexington, Junior Garza of Lexington and 4 grandchildren. His family is honoring his wish to be cremated. Friends and family are invited to meet at his home on Saturday July 9, 2010 at 9 a.m. at 12:15 Expressway Church Rd. Wildersville TN to escort him to his memorial service to be held at 10 a.m. at Parsons Church of God 678 Georgia Ave. Parsons TN and to escorthim back to his home after the services to celebrate his life and shar in a reception.

, Services for Mrs. Marene P. Snow, age 86, were Dec. 9, 2010 Thursday, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Dr. Hoyt Wilson officiating. Burial followed in Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Snow died late TUesday in Lexington. She was born July 8, 1924 in Henderson County to the late Floyd and Emily Yates Petty. She retired from the Social Security Administrate was a member of First Baptist Church American Legion and the oldest and longest member of VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mr. Charles Snow. Survivors include her son, Floyd Snow and her daughter Mayron Rogers, all of Lexington and two grandchildren.

- Services for Frances Sollis, age 81 of Sardis, were held Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Sinners Hope Church in Hardin County, with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Sardis Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah were in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sollis died Monday, October 22, 2007 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was retired from Aqua Glass after 16 years and also retired from Automatic Electric in North Lake, IL after 25 years. She was a member of Sinners Hope Church. Survivors include James Sollis of Sardis; two grandchildren, Annie Sollis and Megan Sollis; one great-grandchild, Kelley; a niece, Susan Smith (Jerry) of Saltillo; two nephews, Terry Sollis (Nancy) of Lexington and Ronnie Sollis (and friend, Judy) of Adamsville; 4 great-neices, Janet Scott, Crystal Sollis, Kelli Reno, and Stacy Sollis. She was preceded in death by her father, Milliard Sollis; her mother, Eula Mae Sollis; and a brother, Cleatus Sollis.

- Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Sparks, age 82, were held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. Chris Warren officiating. Burial followed in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sparks died early Monday in Parsons. She was born January 28, 1926 in Cowart, VA to the late Joseph Levy and Eva Catherine King Moone. She was a retired I-Appel employee and a member of Scotts Hill Church of Christ. She loved getting out, visiting friends and the nursing home.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. Malcolm Sparks; two daughters, Mary (Roy) Hall of Parsons and Judy Sparks of Bruceton; one sister, Jeanette Bell of Annadale, VA; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony) Quinn and Jeremy Moody; three step grandchildren, Agnes Chappell, Virginia Butler, and Anthony Hall; four great grandchildren, Clayton Quinn, Jacob, Joshua and Erin Moody; and four step great grandchildren, Chase Butler, McKayla Hall, Emma Hall, and Joseph Chappell.

Mr. Stone passed away July 20, 2011 in Henderson Co IL. He was born July 17, 1960 in Lexington TN. He was a maintenance worker at Columbus McKinnon and active for over 15 years in the TN National Guard and a member of Stone Hill Pentecostal Church,, Mr. Stone enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baby-sitting his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Stone and two brothers Ira and Dennis Stone.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Holly Lindsey and Heather Jo Yelverton; and his mother Monie Ray Stone; two sisters, Pam Harrington and Darlene Maness and Bro. Larry Stone and Bro. Ricky Stone, also two grandchildren Bryce Lindsey and Kylee Yelverton.

He is survived by his fiancee of Lexington Natalie Maness, a sister Sammy Jo Swindle of Bath Springs, father Allen (Jena) Swindle of Parsons, mother Samantha (Graper) Houston of Decaturville and a grandmother Lavern Swindle of Parsons. He was preceased by grandparents Raymond and Sue Johnson, Johnny Sidnele and an uncle David Johnson.
