Article in the Progress 15 November 2000 in honor of her 90th Birthday: On November 20, 1910 a baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Ross, who was named Flossie Mary Jane. She was the first sibling of nine born to this union and has always been referred to as their "RamRod". Her past time is spent checking on her brothers and sisters family and close friends to see if they are alright and what they are doing. She was married to Adam Veteto at the age of 17 and they celebrated 54 years of marriage before he passed away in 1982. She has only one living daughter, Nelle Priddy. A son, Charles and a daughter Mary Lee have already gone to live in their Heavenly home. Flossie has always been a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She is a very devoted Christian and has attended Center Hill Baptist Church almost all of her life, singing in the choir most of that time. In fact, she has written two songs and loves to Praise the Lord with her beautiful alto voice. We wish her a Special Happy Birthday and many more to come.. We love you lots -- Nelle and Bill, Jan and Jeff, Ginger and Kevin.
