(The Hickman Pioneer, April 12, 1878)

 Welcome to Genealogy Trails!

By a late act of Congress all soldiers of the War of 1812 are entitled to a pension of eight dollars per month, and all their widows, without regard to the date of marriage or their loyalty.  All claims against the Government for property taken during the war and where parties have filed their claims and their attorneys have lest the county or neglected their interests, I will attend to with dispatch.  Bounties pensions and all kinds of claims.  Persons communicating should enclose stamp to insure answer.
