U.S. Government Claim Agency AD for Pension entitlement for soldiers of War of 1812 (The Hickman Pioneer, April 12, 1878) |

| By a late act of Congress all soldiers of
the War of 1812 are entitled to a pension of eight dollars per month, and
all their widows, without regard to the date of marriage or their loyalty.
All claims against the Government for property taken during the war and
where parties have filed their claims and their attorneys have lest the
county or neglected their interests, I will attend to with dispatch.
Bounties pensions and all kinds of claims. Persons communicating
should enclose stamp to insure answer.
