Funeral services for Mrs. Donnie Brooks, 87, who died at her home in Erin after a lengthy illness were held
Saturday at Grice's Creek, with Garland-Hensley Undertaking Company of Waverly in charge. The daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wheeler, she is survived by two sons, Bill and Rodney Brooks of Erin; four daughters, Mrs.
Maude Rodgers, Miss Ethel Brooks and Mrs. Ida Huges, all of Erin, and Mrs. Lucy Baker of McEwen; 29 grandchildren,
29 great-granchildren and one brother, Henry Walker of Erin.
