BLAKLEY - BLAKLEY
Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Jones announce the marriage of their sister Zula Frances Blakley to Mr. Omer M. Blakley on Tuesday, December 25 nineteen hundred twenty-eight Lenoir City, Tennessee.
The ceremony was performed Tuesday afternoon, December 25, at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Sam Varner, of Lenoir City, Rev. McKinsey officiated. The wedding was a very quiet affair with only a few friends and relatives present.
Mrs. Blakely is a very popular young lady of this city, having made her home here with her sister, Mrs. H. S. Jones, of Boone street for a number of years. She was educated at Kingsport high school and has for the past year held a position in this city.
Mr. Blakely is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Blakely of Lenoir City, but has for the past several years made his home in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he holds a responsible position.
Mr. and Mrs. Blakley are spending a few days in Lenoir City with relatives after which they will leave for Pittsburgh where they will make their future home.
