Taylor Cemetery located outside of Denmark , Madison County, TN on route 223.
The “white” burial side has now been
completed (Spring 2009) and the slave/ “black” burial side should be finished sometime this summer.
The white people had stones to mark their graves but the blacks used Yucca, wooden crosses,
bricks or stones to
mark their graves due to their impoverished states.
