Residence on College Street and was one of the homes where fifty Federal soldiers, each supplied with 100 rounds of ammunition, four gallons of water, and bread were sent when the news came that teh Confederate forces were expected to attack. Officers and loyal ladies in the city were to be prepared to leave town at a moment's notice and would be furnished transportation to Trenton, by order of Brig. Gen. Jer. C. Sullivan.
