State of TN to Miles PRINCE
pg 507) The State of Tennessee, No. 27657. To all to whom these presents shall come - Greeting: Know Ye that in consideration of the sum of twelve and one half cents per acre, paid into the office of the Entry-Taker of Perry County, pursuant to the provisions of an act of the General Assembly of said State, passed on the eleventh day of January, 1842 and entered as an occupant on the 8th day of November 1845 by No. 91 therein granted by the said State of Tennessee unto Miles PRINCE a certain tract or parcel of land, containing twenty & one fourth acres by survey bearing date the tenth day of November 1845 lying in said County on Range Nine & Section Five on Buffaloe River bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at the southwest corner of a forty acre entry in the name of John BUSCH running thence West eighty poles to a hickory thence North forty two poles to a stake in the South boundary line of a one hundred & ninety acre entry in the name of William HALLBROOK thence East eighty poles to a dogwood thence Southeast corner of the same thence South forty two poles to the beginning with the hereditaments and appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Miles PRINCE and his heirs forever. __ __ __ Aaron V. William HALBROOK to Heirs of Isaac PRINCE
pg 269) This indenture made this fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord 1845 between William HALBROOK of the County of Perry & State of Tennessee of the one part & the following named heirs of Isaac PRINCE & late of the County & State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that the said William HALBROOK for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars formerly paid to him by said Isaac PRINCE in his lifetime do bear by grant a lien in fee of & confirm Nancy PRINCE now Nancy HENLEY, Carry PRINCE, Simeon PRINCE, Miles PRINCE, Jane PRINCE, Caroline PRINCE now Caroline HALBROOK VERLA __ __ Winna PRINCE now Winna GIDDENS the following tract of land & butted premises in the County & State aforesaid containing 153 acres & bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning on a dogwood in GARDNER's South boundary line running South 42 poles to David R. HARRIS's line then East 57 2/10 poles to a stake on the bank of Buffaloe River thence North 42 poles to a stake thence West 57 2/11 poles to the beginning with all & __ the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said heirs & their assigns will warrant & forever defend furthermore the said William doth warrant that he is now seized & __ of a title in fee simple at this time to said described tract of land.
