STEPPED IN FRONT OF A MOWER
Robert Goddard, a highly respected farmer residing four miles east of Hariman, Tenn., while operating a mowing machine, unfortunately stepped in front of the cutter bar, while the mower was in motion. The result being that his left ankle was so badly cut that amputation was necessary, and Dr. J. N. Willis, of Harriman, and Dr. C. Sienknecht, of Kingstown, performed the operation. Mr. Goddard is 68 years of age, and all things considered is getting along very well.
