The Jury of view heretofore appointed to view and mark out an alteration in the road from Hugh Blairs to Morgan Davis make the following report to wit,
We the undersigned Jury of view after being sworn as a Jury of view to lay out the road or view and mark out the alteration in the above order have proceeded to perform the duty assigned us and do agree and make the following report to wit The alteration shall begin at or near Morgan Davis house leaving the old road turning to the left along a ridge then as marked intersecting the old road where that whats Cale Cannons road intersects with the old road, all of which we respectfully submit to the consideration of the worshipful county court this 12th day of August 1858 G Galyan

The jury of view heretofore appointed to mark out a road commencing near P M Atchleys running through the knobs intersecting the Sevierville and flat creek road near the Vance cabbin (sic) made the following report to wit
"We the undersigned Jury of view after being sworn proceeded in complyance (sic) with the above order to view & mark a road commencing at the ford of little Millican creek near P M Atchley house & running & intersecting the flat creek road near Joshua Atchleys & with said road to the line between Nichols & Jones with some to the creek then up the powder spring hollow to the Robeson gap then with the leading ridge to Stofle field then running on the South east side of Annias James field and intersecting the Sevierville road near said James house, all of which is respectfully submitted to the worshipful county court this 28 Augt 1858 James Lindsey

ibid Upon the verbal petition of Berry Tipton it is ordered by the court that Cromwell Delozier, A Rodgers William Latham, John Latham & G Sing be appointed a Jury of view to change the road near Berry Tiptons Sr. and that they report to the next quarterly term of this court.

ibid Upon the petition of J W. Bowman & others it is ordered by the court that Ephraim Johnson Saml H. Ellis, I N Underwood, David Keener, Henry Smith N J Huffaker & E Underwood be appointed a Jury of view to view and mark out a road of the 3rd Clap commencing at the county line between Knox County and Sevier County where the Knox County Jury stopped thence Eastwardly passing the sinking spring school house and also near where Henry Smith now lives thence to the Dumpling road intersecting said road about one mile above Underdowns Ferry and that they report to the next quarterly term of this court

It appearing to the court that Elizabeth Clark late of Sevier County had died intestate and having whilst living goods and chattels rights and credits the court therefore appoints John B. Clark administrator of said estate who appeared in open court and gave bond in the sum of Five hundred dollars with Emanuel Fox as his security and was duly sworn according to law and therefore letters of administration issued to the said John B. Clark which are in the following words & figures to wit,

To John B Clark greeting Whereas it hath been represented unto us in our County Court held for the County of Sevier at the courthouse in Sevierville on the 1st Monday of October that Elizabeth Clark late of said County had died intestate having whilst living and that the time of her death goods and chattels and credits the ordering and granting administration whereof doth appertain unto us and we being desirous that the said goods and chattels rights and credits may be well and faithfully administered do grant unto you the said John B Clark full power by these presents well and truly to collect and to take into your possession all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of the said Elizabeth Clark deceased at the time of her death wheresoever the same may be found hereby requiring you to make or cause to be made and returned into our said Court within ninety days a true and perfect inventory of said goods and chattels rights and credits and also to render a true and clear account of said administration when thereto required

Upon motion of L. Bogart Esq. it is ordered by the court that the order made at the last quarterly term of this court directing the clerk of this court to sell the poor house farm be recinded and the sale postponed for further action of the next quarterly term of this court.
ibid Ordered by the court that John Mullendore A. Lawson & Jas C Murphy be appointed to ascertain whether a suitable farm for a poor house farm can be purchased and for what price the same can be had and that they report to the next quarterly term of this court.
The Jury of view heretofore appointed to view and mark out an alteration in the road leading to Greenbrier Cove beginning near the foot of the first hill beyond Giles Catons and terminate in Greenbrier Cove make the following report to wit,
The undersigned a Jury of view appointed at the last August term of the county court of Sevier County to view and mark out an alteration in the road leading to green brier Cove beginning near the foot of the first hill beyond Giles Catons and to terminate in Green brier Cove have performed that duty and make the following report. At the upper end of Giles Catons Peach orchard near the first hill runs to the left of the present road along a pathway at the foot of the left hand hill and crossing the present road proceeds across the branch to a little Island and to the foot of the hill to the right, thence gradually rising the hill to the top of the falls of the branch and then along the side of the branch intersecting the present road to the right of where it crosses the branch above the falls as marked out leaves the present road again at the top of the first rise and there crosses the branch to the left and runs along the foot of the hill and comes into the present road Just beyond a causeway as marked out thence with the present road to the same branch where it takes to the left along a pathway as marked out
