S132 - JOSEPH LIGON-VIRGINIA SERVICE

1.. Declaration made January 8, 1807 in Halifax County, Virginia.
2. He is son of Captain Joseph Ligon.
3. Was wounded at Battle of Guilford Courthouse, N. C. 1781.
4. Pension was granted and his name was later transferred from the Virginia Agency to the West Tennessee Agency. In 1833 he was a resident of Montgomery County, Tennessee.
