Mr. A. D. Drummond has taken charge of the Episcopal Church at this place, and will hold services every Sunday morning and at night.

"The Sunday whiskey traffic and Sunday drinking and who is responsible for it," will be the subject to be presented at the Baptist Church next Sunday morning, by the pastor.  Everybody invited.

One of the old landmarks, the steeple of the Methodist church was taken down last Monday, on account of the extensive improvements and additions going on.  The old steeple was built by Mr. Tom Grant's father many years ago.  The Methodist people will worship in the court house, while the church is undergoing repairs.  (The Tipton Weekly Record, Friday, August 13, 1897)
