We regret to have to report today the severe illness of Dr. Thomas Edwards, one of our oldest and most prominent physicians.

We are sorry to have to report the severe illness of our efficient and accommodating Postmaster, Dr. Isaac G. Reavis, who has been confined to his bed for several days, and was for a day or two considered in a dangerous condition, but we were glad to hear yesterday, was improving.

Rev. W. A. Cook has been confined to his room for several days with bilious fever. We hope to see him out again soon.

Mr. J. R. Cook has been quite ill with congestion of the stomach, but through the skill and attention of Dr. D. C. Johnson, he looks as well and hearty as ever.

Willie Irvine, son of our popular merchant, R. N. Irvine, has been confined to his bed for several days with a severe attack of bilious fever. We are glad to learn however, that through the skill of Drs. Rogers and Winston, he is now convalescent and out of danger.
