HENRY HARRISS

Will January session 1821.

In the name of God, Amen. I HENRY HARRISS of the county of Williamson and State of Tennessee being weak in body but of sound mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last Will and testament in _____ and form following to wit:

First, I give to my beloved wife, MARY M. HARRISS, one half of my tract of land I now live on (for her to have the part that the house now stands, also one Negro woman, LUCY, with all my stock of every kind, household and kitchen furniture and plantation utensils.

I do also give and bequeath to my brother SAMUEL HARRISS the other half of my tract of land and

Lastly I hereby appoint my beloved wife MARY M. HARRIS sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty.

Signed, Sealed published and delivered by the above named HENRY HARRISS to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereto subscribed our names as witness in the presence of the testator RICHARD TANNER, WILLIAM WILLIAMS, BENJAMIN CHAPMAN, PHILIP CHAPMAN which last will and testament of HENRY HARRIS decd as above recited was produced in open Court January session 1821 and the execution thereof duly proven by the Oaths of RICHARD TANNER, BENJAMIN CHAPMAN & PHILIP CHAPMAN and the same was ordered
