Fayrene Rogers Zink
Midland Fayrene Zink, formerly of
Midland and Odessa, passed away
Wednesday, November 30, 2005 in San
Antonio, Texas.
She was born March 26, 1926 to Elmer
Gene Pickens and Eula Minnie Hoffman
Pickens in Colorado City, Texas, and was
raised and educated there.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, husbands, William Owen Rogers
and Larry Zink, grandson, Daniel
Taunton, sisters, Myrle Henderson and
Nelda Gaye McKinney, and son-in-law,
Jerry Smith.
Fayrene is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Melanie and Charles Ring of
Cedar Park, TX; Linda Smith and Greg
Sweeney of Garland, TX; and Kerry Smith
of Schertz, TX; sisters, Pat Bassett of
El Paso, TX; and Jane Webb of Colorado
City, TX; brother, Gene Pickens of
Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Rocky Stults,
and Thomas and Shelby Ring; numerous
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services have been scheduled for
11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2005 at
Fairmont Park Church of Christ in
Midland. Interment will follow at Sunset
Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Arrangements
are under the direction of Ellis Funeral
Home, 801 Andrews Hwy. Midland, Texas

Pallbearers will be Greg Sweeney, Rocky
Stults, Charles Ring, Thomas Ring,
Weldon Hardegree and Sid Hardegree.

Kay Loueen Zocher
MONAHANS Kay Loueen Zocher, 67, of
Monahans, a homemaker, died Tuesday,
Nov. 15, 2005, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at
St. James Episcopal Church with the Rev.
Jeppie Wilson officiating. Burial will
be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Harkey Family

She was born in Odessa.
Survivors Sons, Tony Zocher of Los
Alamos, N.M., Mark Zocher of Sheffield
and Robert Zocher of Monahans; daughter,
Brenda Hill of Fort Stockton; five
grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.

ODESSA Sergio V. Zorrilla, 42, of Odessa
died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Medical
Center Hospital.

McCAMEY Maria Luisa Zuniga, 60, of
McCamey, a nurse?s aide, died Tuesday,
July 13, 2004, at Midland Memorial
Hospital.
Wake services will be held at 7 p.m.
Thursday at Sacred Heart Church. Mass
will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at
the church with the Rev. Nilo Nalugon
officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven
Cemetery. Arrangements are by
Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Poteet. She was
Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Pascual Zuniga Jr.
of McCamey; sons, Daniel Zuniga of Pampa
and George Zuniga of San Antonio;
daughters, Armida Zuniga and Margarita
Meraz, both of McCamey; mother, Erlinda

Casias of Houston and Pedro Casias and
Alex Casias, both of Odessa; sister, Eva
