Kelley Hogg, whose age is said to be about 38 years, well known in Big Spring, first trick dispatcher for the Texas and Pacific Railroad at Monahans, did not answer the call boy this morning and when entrance was obtained to his room, he was found dead.  Death was apparently the result of a gunshot wound and from what information comes to the Herald, Hogg had committed suicide.  The deceased's hours of duty were from eight in the morning to four in the afternoon and he had retired last night about the usual time and was not seen again until his room was entered this morning Kelley Hogg was well known  here he had been in service of the Texas and Pacific for about 25' years with the exception of a short time and was well thought of by the officials and very popular among his fellow workers. He was a son of the late George - Hogg, one of the pioneers of Big Spring, who was the first County Judge of Howard County, serving in that office from 1882 to 1884. . Hogg's many friends in Spring were horror stricken a rash act and 'have failed to any reason for Kelley's self destruction. He is pictured as a man of singularly well balanced mind. and sunny bright disposition and his untimely  end has cast a gloom over his circle of acquaintances. He .is survived ,by, a  sister, Mrs. Charles Frame of Odessa.Dec 21, 1928 Big Spring Herald
