Benjamin Richardson b. 1833 Simpson Co., MS d. 4 Jun 1864 Confederate Hospital , Beaumont , Jefferson , TX (of Yellow Fever) per his Service Records
Benjamin was a Private, in 11th Spaight’s Battalion, as an Ambulance driver. He is now listed with the United Daughters of the Confederacy as of Nov 2011.
Son of John Richardson and Phoebe (Sessums) Richardson
Husband of Sarah E Crockett (part of The Crockett family)
Father to: Anderson Drew Richardson, Clarissa Richardson and Lettetia “Letty” Richardson
His grave has not been found, and it is possible that the part of the cemtery where he is buried, has been paved over. It is also possible that there are other soldiers buried in the same area.
