COWBOYS WAITING FOR MEXICANS.
We Report Yet That Any Southern Army Has Crossed the Rio Grande Into Texas.
San Antonio—Feeling between Gringoes and Mexicans along the border is intense. The slightest spark's would set off a blaze in a hundred places along the Rio
Grande. The feeling is not so much a matter of nationalism as it is a personal question between "Greasers" and "Gringoes." While there are still fears of a clash in Edwards county, there is some comfort taken from the fact that no trace has been found in interior Texas of the  Mexican army supposed to be marching upon Rock
Springs from Las Vacas.. [Wall Street Journal Nov 17, 1910]

Jackson, Tenn, Sept. 16.—Sheriff Bargesley, of Edwards County, Texas to-day recognized young James A. Thompson, who was arrested here last night, as the man ¦wanted for the murder John Neal, in Edwards County in July last year. The murder was cold-blooded. Thompson and Neal had quarreled about watering some stock, and Thompson went to s house, accompanied by his brother, called him out, and shot him with a Winchester rifle. The two brothers then led to Tennessee, and have been living in this county several months. His brother was in custody, but was released Saturday. He is also wanted as an accessory.
