COTY LARGE
Ranchman Dies of Wreck Injuries

LEAKEY, Tex. Sept. 4 - Funeral services will be held Saturday for Coty Large, 39, who died Friday night of injuries received in an automobile accident near Rock Springs some 10 days ago.
Large, a Leakey ranch owner, was the third person to die of the accident.
The fourth person involved is being held in jail at Rock Springs, pending filing of charges of murder without malice in connection with the deaths of the three persons.

SLADES SADDLE SHOP OWNER DIES

Louis Glenn Paradeaux, age 82, passed away on July 20, 1990 at the Camp Wood Convalescent Center. Mr. Paradeaux was born in Sherman on November 10, 1907. He was married to Martha Ruth Slade who preceeded him in death June 21, 1984. He played football for Baylor and served in the Navy during World War II as Lt. Commander.
Surviving are: son, Will Glenn and daughter-in-law, Maybelle of Del Rio, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Louise Marse of Georgetown.
Until his retirement, Paradeaux operated Slades Saddle Shop which was known world-wide for it's fine saddles and leatherwork. The shop was a part of Southwest Texas history and a "must see" for tourists.
