Wedding of Capt. Jack Berry and Elsie Reed Soleminized

Miss Elsie Reed, 3641 Asbury, became the bride of Capt. Jack Berry, AAF. Tuesday evening at the Melrose Hotel. She is the daughter of Mrs. G. N. Reed of Spearman, Hansford County, and the bridegroom is the sone of Mrs. M. N. Berry of Texarkana. The Rev. Patrick Henry Jr. read the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Lt. R. L. Reed, USMCR. She wore a two-piece blue silk shantung dress. Her gloves were white and her other accessories were navy. She carried a white prayer book topped with gardenias and showered with white satin ribbon and stephanotis. Mrs. A. R. Rockefeller pesented the music. Miss Elizabeth Wiseman cut the ring-shaped cake during a reception and Miss Betty clements presided at the bride's book. After a wedding trip to Galveston and other cities on the Texas coast, the bride and bridegroom will live at 3641 Asbury. Mrs. Berry is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Captain berry attended the University of Texas.
