| Hall Ranch El Paso Texas, December 9- A trade was consummated here today by which J.M. Daugherty of Abilene, Texas, acquired the whole ranch of 300,000 acres located in El Paso County, the consideration being $125,000. The ranch is located one hundred and fifty miles from El Paso and now grazes 6,000 head of cattle and possesses most of the modern improvements. Mr. Daugherty is one of the largest ranch holders in the Southwest, besides being interested in a banking way in Abilene. His land holdings are in New Mexico, Andrews County Texas, and the Creek Nation of the Indian Territory. Bob Hall who owned the property acquired by Mr. Daugherty, was one of the biggest cattlemen in the Southwest. He was killed on his ranch near Van Horn, this county, about a year ago by Fayette Seely, who has been tried twice for the murder of Hall. The first time he got fifteen years.
