Elmer Lewis
J.E. Lewis, 71, Funeral for J.E. (Jewel Elmer) Lewis, 70, of 2515 Vincent
St. will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Davis Morris Funeral Home with the Rev. George Slayton Officiating. Burial will
be in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Mr Lewis died at 2:15 p.m. Friday following a brief illness. Born Nov 13, 1897
in Red River County, he was a retired engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad. A Baptist, he lived 40 years in Brownwood
and was a member of the brotherhood of Locomotive engineers. He was married to Eva May Murphy at Dallas Dec 2,
1917. Survivors included his wife: two daughters Mrs Faye Griffin and Mrs Lucille Young both of Dallas; three
sisters, Mrs Viola Barry, Mrs Lonnie Gryder, Mrs Rada Jones all of Dallas; one brother B.W. Lewis of Arkansas;

William F. Knight
KNIGHT-Brownwood, Tex., July 14.-William F. Knight, who died at stop 6 of the Fort Worth & Dallas lnterurban
on last Monday was one of Brownwood's oldest business men, coming here when the town was very small and remaining
here until a few years ago, when he moved to Fort Worth. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and four sons.
The daugters are Mrs. R B. Durham of Fort Worth and Mrs. T. L. Lawrence of San Antonio. George C. Knight, John
L Knight of Sweetwater, Frank Knight of Brownwood and Harry Knight of Henrietta are the sons.

Mrs. T. C. Fitzgerald
Brownwood Bulletin (Brownwood, Texas) Monday, November 4, 1918
Mrs. T. C. Fitzgerald died Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at her home in Bangs. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon
at 2 o'clock by Rev. Joe Nations.
Mrs. Fitzgerald is an early settler in the Bangs community. She leaves a husband, five daughters, one son, a mother,
three sisters and two brothers.

Annie McDonough Lee

Little Annie McDonough Lee died Saturday night at Thrifty, following an attack of influenza.
She was born February 15, 1851 , in Washington county, Arkansas . Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at
Rockey.

Robert Boykin Anderson

Robert Boykin Anderson died at his home on the corner of Penn and Hall streets last night at 11 o’clock . He had
been ill two weeks with influenza. He was born in Eastland county Sept. 14, 1892, and was 26 years old. He is survived
by a wife and two children, a brother, who is also very ill, and his parents who live at Rising Star. He had been
in the employ of the Brownwood Foundry and Machine Co., for some time prior to his death. He was a member of the
M.A.W. and had many friends in Brownwood and the surrounding country. His remains will be shipped tonight to Rising
Star for internment.

Wm. Allcorn
Daily Bulletin (Brownwood, Texas ) Wednesday, April 14, 1909
J. C. Allcorn has received a message from Georgia announcing the death of his brother, Wm. Allcorn, which occurred
there recently. The deceased was 70 years old, and one of
the most substantial and highly respected citizens of his section of the state. He died with pneumonia.
