R. J. Ellis Dallas Morning News – 30 Mar. 1908 Rotan, Tex. , March 29. – R. J. Ellis of Rotan and well-known in Southern and Central Texas , died at his home here Friday after an extended illness. Mr. Ellis came to Rotan about one year ago and has made many friends during his short stay here. He leaves a wife, four sons and two daughters and two brothers. {Submitted by Marla Zwakman}
