Gaines County, Texas Marriage Notices
VERMILLION-BROWN
Robert Earl Vermillion and his bride, after a honeymoon to Galveston, will reside in Seminole. Both are on the
faculty of Seminole High School. He is the son of Mr. and Jin. J. V. Vermillion, 2235 Lucas Drive, and a graduate
of Lon Morris Junior College and North Texas State College. He was a member of the Mask and Wig club, A Capella
choir, College Players, Quintillen club and was also a cheerleader. Mrs. Vermillion is the former Miss Floyce Raye
Brown, daughter of Mrs. Jessie Brown of Lamesa. She is also a graduate of NTSC where she was a member of Gammadians,
Delta Psi Kappa and the; Physical Education Professional Club. The wedding took place Saturday evening in the First
Baptist church of Big Spring, the Rev. Elra Phillips of Sparenburg officiating. Mrs. Dayton Elam and Miss
Joyce Howard presented nuptial music. Glen Brown gave his sister in marriage. Her gown of white cotton lace had
empire waist, long sleeves and ballerina-length skirt. A half hat of white lace held her finder tip illusion veil
and she carried a white Bible and orchids. Mrs. James LeFan of Fort Worth, Miss Dale Howard of Seminole. and Mrs.
Pat Ryan of College Station attended the bride. John C. Golmon of Seminole was best man. Groomsmen, both of Seminole
were David E. Walker and Jon Wilson. Ushers were H. M. Hubbard Jr. of Odessa and Blet O'Brien of Big Spring. Candle
lighters were Miss La- Juan Horton of Big Spring and Donnie Wilson of Seminole The reception took place in the
church parlor. June 1, 1955
ARYAIN-DENTON
Miss Patricia Lee Denton and Jameil Aryain, 3412 Binkley, ex- changed wedding vows
Sunday afternoon in the First Baptist Church, Seminole Parents of the bride are the Rev. and Mrs. T. I. Denton
of Seminole The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Aryain Seminole. Officiant for the ceremony was the
bride's father. Wedding music was presented by Dee Wayne White, soloist, and Mrs. O. J. Pier son, pianist. Given
In marriage by her uncle, Sparlin Denton of Stillwater, Okla. the bride wore a gown of white slipper satin with
a cathedral- length train. A chantilly lace yoke tapered to a point at the back of the waist. Sleeves came to petal
points over her wrists. A finger- tip-length veil of illusion was caught to a Juliet cap of seed pearls. She carried
a cascade bouquet of white rosebuds and split carnations Pearl earrings, a gift of the bride groom, were her only
jewelry. Mrs. Donald Patton of Kermit was matron of honor, with Miss Mary Loyce Webb. Seminole acting m maid of
honor Candles were lighted by Miss Juanell Allison and Miss. Barbara June White. Eddie Aryain of Los Angeles, Calif.,
served his brother as best man. Ushers and groomsmen were Con Hood,. Keith Chambliss and O. J. Fierson Jr., Seminole,
and Mr. Patton Kermit. A reception in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. White followed the wedding ceremony. Miss
Joyce Skinner presided at the cake, while Miss Jo Beth White served punch. Guests were registered by Mrs. Ray Anderson.
For the wedding trip to New Mexico, the bride chose a brown two-tone suit with dark brown accessories and a tangerine-colored
hat. Her corsage was of small gold chrysanthemums. Mrs. Aryain attended Texas State College for Women, where she
was a member of Aglain Social Club, ACE Club and the Music Club. Her husband is a student at Southern Methodist
University. Upon their return from New Mexico Mr. and Mrs. Aryain will reside at 5819 Belmont. October 24,

SAYLOR-WELCH
The engagement of Miss Bette Gene Welch, 2543
Rampart, to Kenneth Richard Saylor has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Welch of Seminole. The
wedding data has been set for June 14 at the First Methodist Church of Seminole. Miss Welch Is a graduate of Hardin
Simmons University where she was a member of Delta social club. Alpha Chi and was named best-dressed coed. Mr.
and Mrs., Richard Saylor of Seminole are parents of the prospective bridegroom, who attended Sul Ross College and
West Texas State University. May 3, 1964
SUNDSTROM-COOK
Miss Charlotte Rose Cook, 5221 Bonita. and Lt. David Earl Sundstrom, U.S. Air Force,
Roswell, N.M., were married in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Saturday morning. The bride, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. D. A. Cook of Seminole, was graduated from North Texas State University, and the bridegroom, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Sundstrom of Inkster, Mich., was graduated from Wayne State University. The Rev. James Cashman officiated
at the ceremony, and the bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Judy Bussey of Fort Worth was maid of
honor, and Tom Sundstrom, brother of the bridegroom, of Inkster, was best man. After a wedding trip to Colorado,
the newlyweds will live in Roswell.August 15, 1965
