[Special to the Galveston News. Fort Worth, August 31, 1874, Via Dallas, September 2.
Mr. W. T. Maddox arrived last night from Weatherford, and informed me that the livery man at Weatherford arrived from Jacksboro night before last, bringing the news that there were 150 Indians four miles this side of Jacksboro, on Friday night last. They had stolen many horses, and were making their way back to the reservation.
