Ruby Joe Dennis, 81, of Mineral Wells

            A memorial service for Ruby Joe Dennis will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel in Mineral Wells. The Rev. Bobby Williams will officiate with Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Dennis passed away Nov. 28, 2000, in a Mineral Wells nursing center. She was born in Palo Pinto County Jan. 9, 1919, the daughter of George and Georgia Margaret Casson Moss.

            She had lived all her life in this area and was once employed as a waitress. She was a member of the Baptist church.

            Survivors include daughters, Darlene Hetherinton and husband Johnnie of Pasadena and Shirley Massingale of Bedford; sons, Edward Glover of California, Bennie Glover and wife Debbie of Temple City, Calif; grandchildren, Cheryl Frazier of Weatherford, Toni Gordon of Pasadena, James Massingale of Williamston, N.C. and Melissa Massingale of Grapevine; sister, Juanita Sparks of Mineral Wells; brother, George Moss, Jr. of Jacksboro; six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lena Bell Spurgeon, and brothers, Devo and Clifton Moss.

Henry Jackson Reedy, 67, of Mineral Wells 

            Services for Henry Jackson Reedy will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel, with burial in the Indian Creek Cemetery in Palo Pinto County.

            Dr. Carl Clinton will officiate with Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Reedy died June 23 at a local hospital. He was born in Palo Pinto County on April 9, 1933, the son of Robert and Florence Cox Reedy.

            He married Pauline Campbell on September 3, 1954 in Mineral Wells.

            He was retired from the U.S. Army and a farmer. He was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

            Survivors include his wife, Pauline Reedy of Mineral Wells; son, Mark Reedy of Arlington and Henry Jay and wife, Marianne, Reedy of Amsterdam, Holland; daughters and son-in-law, Vicky and Richard Schlarb of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Carolynn Danner of Carrizo Springs; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, George Alton and Hazel Reedy of Mineral Wells, and Lee and Nadine Reedy of Richardson sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia and Ray Hott of Mineral Wells and Margaret Mathis of Fort Worth; and many nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by eight brothers; three sisters; and grandson, Aaron Danner, in 1996.

            Pallbearers will be deacons of Immanuel Baptist Church.
