Malcom LsSuer Black Dallas Morning News – 26 Oct. 1918 Sterling City , Texas , Oct. 25. – Malcom LeSuer Black, 16-year-old son of the Rev. Malcom Black, died at his home here Wednesday night after a two weeks’ illness, his brain having become infected from an abcess in his middle ear, resulting from grippe. He was graduated from the high school here this spring. He is survived by his father, a sister, Miss Serena Black of this place, and a brother, Z. E. Black of Dallas .
