GOTCHER-BADGETT
Wingate Girl Weds Bradshaw Man
Miss Edna Mae Badgett of Wingate and Harvey Gotcher of Bradshaw were married here last night at 7:30, with Justice of the Peace Theo Ash performing the marriage rites. The couple is to live in the Bradshaw community.

DRUMMOND-ANDREWS
Bride of Abilene Man Today
Marriage of Miss Mildred Andrews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Andrews of Merkel, and W. G. Drummond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Drummond of Abilene, will be solemnized at 10 o'clock this morning in the home of Miss Thelma Kennedy, 882 Hickory. The bride's only attendant is her sister, Manila Andrews, while R. E. McMinn will serve as best man. Miss Irene Davenport, accompanied by Mrs. Ledo Dowdy, will sing "I Love You Truly" and "Oh Promise Me." The Lohenghren wedding music will be played as the couple meet before an improvised altar of honey suckle and blue corn flowers. The Rev. W. Larry, Baptist minister, will perform the ceremony. The bride will wear a wedding dress of navy blue taffeta with pink accessories, and will carry a bridal bouquet of pink rose buds. The maid of honor is to be gowned in powder blue with white accessories. After the ceremony the couple will leave for New Mexico, visiting El Paso and other points of interest en route. They are to return May 1 to live in Abilene. The bride is a graduate of Abilene high school, and has been employed by the McLellan stores since graduation. Mr. Drummond is employed by the Texas state highway department.
