Captain F. E. Baker

Naples , Nov. 8. – Capt. F. E. Baker died on the 17th of November. He was 79 years old; was postmaster of Naples
during Cleveland ’s administration, and a resident of Texas for more than thirty years. He was a Confederate soldier
and also served his native State (Alabama ) in her Indian wars of early days.

Dangerfield, Morris Co., Tex., Feb. 5. – Major John M. Richardson, an old citizen of this place, died last night.
