Smith County Marriages

 


Casstevens and Williams
Kenneth Rodgers Casstevens and his bride, the former Miss Annie Mae Williams of Arlington, are on a wedding trip following their marriage Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church in Tyler.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Willliams of Tyler and a graduate of Tyler Junior College and East Texas State College. The bridegroom, also a graduate of ETSC, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Stanley Casstevens of Greenville.

After the ceremony, at which Dr. Cecil Lang officiated, a reception was held in the church parlors. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace over satin. A pearl tiara held the fingertip veil. Miss Mary Lou Williams of Tyler served her sister as maid of honor. William Roddy of Wolfe City was best man, and Jerrell Casstevens and J. M. Casstevens, the bridegroom's brother, served as ushers.

Boyles and Dorrough

Tyler, Smith County, Texas
March 14 - At noon yesterday at the residence of the bride's mother, Mr. Edwin W. Broyles of Washington City and Miss Maggie May Dorrough were married. Rev. B. H. Greathouse officiating. The bride and groom left on the evening train for New Orleans and other southern cities.

Tyler, Smith County, Texas
March 12 - W. G. B. Starnes and Miss Delia Risley were married yesterday at the home of the bride's parents near Lindale.
