Elder Geo. W. Lincoln
Elder Geo.W. Lincoln died at his residence in Bountiful, Davis County, Utah December 2nd, 1876. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place on the 3rd inst. Deceased was born at Dorchester, Mass. June 6th, 1812. He was married October 3rd, 1833, to Miss Jane Maria Babcock, of Littlefield, Conn.
He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1843, by Elder Geo. Clare, by whom ho was also ordained an Elder.
Elder Lincoln suffered persecution and much affliction with the Saints in Missouri and in 1856 he was arrested on a charge- but falsely - of arson and thrown into prison, where he kept confined for eleven months without a trial, but at the end of this time, through the indefatigable exertions of his faithful wife, obtained a hearing, and was honorably acquitted. In 1857 he came to Utah, moved to Bountiful, where he resided chiefly until the time of his decease.
Elder Lincoln was a devoted husband, a kind father and faithful friend. he died as he lived, in full faith of the gospel, and in hope of resurrection to eternal life. He leaves a family and a large circle of friend to mourn his lose.

Ann Everington Woolley
Mrs. Ann Everington Woolley, mother of Brigham H. Roberts, died at her home in Bountiful, Tuesday evening. Mrs. Woolley was born in Thorpton, Norfolk, England, December 18, 1826. She joined the Mormon church in 1851 and emigrated to Utah in 1862, locating at East Bountiful, where she became actively engaged in church work. Five children, Mrs. Mary Day and Mrs. Ann Wiley of Bountiful, B. H . Roberts of Centerville, Mrs. Elizabeth Bartlett of Blackfoot, Ida., and Mrs. Brynina Wiley of Bountiful, survive. Mrs. Woolley is also survived by forty-four grand children and fifty-eight great grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the East Bountiful meeting house at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

William T. Ayland
Pioneer of Utah Dies of Old Age
William T. Ayland, 82 years old, a pioneer, died last night at his home in Bountiful of old age. Death was sudden. Mr. Ayland was born in England and came to this country in 1865. He was active in public life here during the early days, but for the past few years he has lived retired in Bountiful. He was the father of Capt. William T. Ayland, Jr., of the Salt Lake City fire department. The funeral will be held Wednesday in Bountiful.

Died - William G. Thompson
At Bountiful, Davis County, December 5, 1876, deceased was born June 10, 1806, in Lanarkshire, Scotland; emigrated to Canada in 1833; was baptized by Elder Orson Hyde in 1836; then emigrated to Missouri; passed through the trials and persecutions of the Saints; West to Quincy, Illinois; from there to Garden Grove; moved to Utah in 1851; located in Bountiful, Davis County, where he resided until the date of his decease. He left four children, twenty-seven grand-children, and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss.
Brother Thompson was ever faithful to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; was a man of strict integrity, bore a faithful testimony to the religion he had embraced, and died, as he had lived, in full faith and the hope of a glorious resurrection. Truly a good man has passed from our midst.

Died - James Owen Thomas Davis
At Bountiful, Davis County, Utah, April 23, 1877, James Owen Thomas Davis, aged 70 years. Deceased was a native of Glamorganshire, South Wales. He was honored and respected by all who were acquainted with him.

Died - Mary Moss
At Bountiful, Davis County, Utah, July 17, 1877, of intermittent fever, Mary Moss, daughter of Hyrum D. and Elizabeth Buys. Deceased was born in New York City, December 15, 1836; was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1845; was with her parents through the persecutions of the Saints at Nauvoo; came with them to Piega, where they resided until they came to Utah in 1850, and settled in Bountiful, where she resided until the day of her death; was married to Robert Moss in 1853; was the mother of twelve children, eleven of whom are now living to mourn her loss with her husband, relatives and friends; was an affectionate wife and kind mother, and was beloved by all who knew her; died in full faith in the gospel, hoping to meet with the Saints in the morning of the first resurrection.

Golding
At Manti, Sanpete County, May 23rd, Nancy Golding, wife of Jezreal Shoemaker. Deceased was born in Pendleton County, April 22, 1808. She joined the Church in 1846 and came to these valleys in 1847. She was among the first settlers of Bountiful, David County, as also of Sanpete Valley, in which latter place she resided until her decease. She was a faithful Saint and an affectionate mother, and esteemed by all who knew her.

Forbes
CLEARFIELD, Dec. 13. – Funeral services for Dean, the 2-months-old son of Philip and Helen Anderson Forbes, who died Sunday following a short illness of pneumonia, were held at the Clearfield meeting house Tuesday afternoon. The services were under the direction of Bishop David Stoker. Internment took place in the Kaysville cemetery.

Wilcox
KAYSVILLE, Nov. 5. – Vivian Wilcox, the 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Wilcox, died at his home last evening of pneumonia, following influenza. Eight members of the family are ill with the disease. Besides his parents, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: James, who is on a mission in Texas; Glen, who is in France; Emery, who is at Camp Lewis, and Paul, Lawrence, Adelle, Lola, Violet and Golden, all of Clearfield. Funeral arrangements will be made as soon as word is received from the absent brothers.

At Kaysville, Davis County, November 29, 1885, of consumption, Abraham Layton, aged 49 years, 11 months and days. Deceased was born in Besen, Bedfordshire, England, and came to Utah when about 15 years of age. He leaves a wife and 8 children to mourn his loss.
