The Body Found
"The body of William Pearce who was drowned in Price River last May, found."

A correspondent writing to The Tribune under date of July 18th, from Price, Emery county, Utah, state that while a party of men from the construction train on the D. & G. were fishing in Price river near Castle Gate on Thursday last, they discovered the body of a man lodged under a rock in the river. The body was taken out and found to be badly decomposed. A number of the men at once recognized it as that of William Pearce, a young man who was drowned on May 23d last while working on a construction train near Castle Gate. He was unloading rock at the time with a derrick, and was accidentally thrown into Price river by a a blow from the derrick. E. W. McIntire, justice of the peace of Price precinct, was at once notified of th finding of the body, and summoning a jury, composed of Fred E. Grames, Jacob Black and John Philips, proceeded to Castle Gate, where the bony  had been removed in a box and held an inquest, returning a verdict in accordance with the above facts.

Otsen
CASTLE DALE: Christian F. F. Otsen, a sheepman of Castle Dale, died Tuesday of peritonitis. He was taken sick at his shearing corrals and died while on the way to a Salt Lake hospital.

Crouse
MOAB, Dec. 2. – Henry Crouse, 87, Moab’s oldest citizen, died of general debility at his home here Sunday night. He was born in Ohio in 1834 and came to Utah in 1873, settling in Beaver county. Ten years later Mr. Crouse pioneered the Moab valley, then a part of Emery county. For thirty-five years he was a cooperative weather observer, serving the federal bureau without compensation. He is survived by eight children and one sister, Mrs. Eva D. Missner of Cashton, Wis.

At Orangeville, August 17, 1886, Zina Lavenia, infant daughter of Parker A. and Josie E. Childs, of inflammation of the bowels and congestion of the brain; aged 11 years.

Gregerson
The body of Heber Gregerson, the Hiawatha coal miner who died at the Holy Cross hospital yesterday morning, was taken to Castle Dale last night for internment.

At Castle Dale, Aug. 8, 1886, from diarrhea, Eva, daughter of Tilda and Carl Wilberg, born July 7th, 1883.

DONALDSON - In Castle Dale, Emery Co., April 25, 1886, Christina Coomb, wife of John Donaldson; born in Glasgow, Scotland, Feb. 1, 1851. She lived and died a faithful Latter day Saint, and leaves a husband and five children to mourn her death.

Williams
Mrs. Ila Williams, 25 years of age, died Monday at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Harden W. Williams of Emery. The body will be taken to Emery by S. M. Taylor & Co.
