OBITUARIES/DEATH NOTICES
Myers
PANGUITCH, Nov. 12. – Funeral services for John E. Myers, former
Garfield county sheriff, who died Tuesday, were held here Thursday. He
had suffered from paralysis for thirteen years. Until four years ago he
had been active in business and church affairs and played a prominent
part in the development of this valley. He is survived by his widow,
six sons and two daughters.

Hughes
At Antimony City, Grass Valley, August 12th, of cholera infantum, after
two days’ sickness, Annie R., infant daughter of Thomas and Mrs.Hughes,
born March 27, 1881.

Partridge
Mary Partridge, whose father, J. P. Partridge, is on a mission in Great
Britain for the Mormon church, died yesterday at the home in Panguitch,
according to a telegram received by local church officials. The girl
was 16 years of age and died from appendicitis.

Clove
PANGUITCH: Mrs. Hannah Clove, wife of the late N. P. Clove of
Panguitch, died yesterday at the age of 74 years. The deceased was one
of Utah’s pioneers and a resident of Provo many years.

Henrie
PROVO, Jan. 19. – Miss Joy Henrie, 18, died yesterday at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Henrie, at 267 North Third East street.
She was born in Panguitch and lived there until three years ago, when
she moved to Provo with her parents. Since coming to Provo she had
attended the Brigham Young university. The funeral service will be held
in the Fifth ward chapel, Friday at 2 p.m.

McCullough
Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon in Panguitch, Utah, for
Mrs. Frances McCullough, wife of Jacob McCullough, a prominent citizen
of that city. Mrs. McCullough, who was nearly 49 years old, died in a
Salt Lake hospital, Sunday, after an operation for lung infection.
Arrangements were made for her body to be viewed by friends from 4
o’clock this afternoon until 10 o’clock tonight at the chapel of
Larkin-Hull Undertaking company, 355 South Second East street.
